Recently I wrote about how to stay motivated with a new fitness regime and one of my key motivators is an excellent playlist to listen to whilst you are working out. The right music can make or break your workout – have you ever been completely in the zone only to have it all ruined by a slow/sad song playing on your headphones? Or how about having to completely stop what you’re doing because you’re too busy skipping songs on shuffle trying to find just the right one? For me, when I’m running, I need upbeat, fast songs to keep me going and if a slow one comes on it totally ruins my pace.
Spending five minutes creating a workout playlist is all you need to potentially transform your workout and help keep you motivated when you hit that workout wall. It’s also important to regularly update it so that you don’t run the risk of getting bored.
Here are the songs on my workout playlist that help keep me going at the gym and hopefully they work for you too!
~
Titanium – David Guetta and Sia
Sorry Not Sorry – Demi Lovato
Let’s Go – Calvin Harris
Brianstorm – Arctic Monkeys
My Type – Saint Motel
Nobody To Love – Sigma
Wreckin’ Bar – The Vaccines
Shake It Off – Taylor Swift
Spectrum (Calvin Harris remix) – Florence + The Machine
We Found Love – Rihanna and Calvin Harris
One Way Or Another – One Direction
…Ready For It – Taylor Swift
Those are my workout playlist songs but what are yours? Let me know!
